What is the purpose of using a Beacon?

Thanks to the Beacon, the app knows that you are moving in the vehicle in which you have installed it.

Thus, the mobile app is able to distinguish between trips made using your own car and those made by public transport, taxi, when you are a passenger in another vehicle.
