What are the states of a challenge and how are they linked?

There are 4 states for a challenge. The status of a challenge changes according to the time and according to the dates of posting, start, and end.

As soon as an administrator has created a challenge and as long as it has not been published, it is in the Draft state. In this state, the challenge is not yet visible in the mobile application and it can be modified.

The challenge goes into the scheduled state once the administrator has published it. In this state the challenge is visible in the mobile application and users can register. At this stage, the administrator can no longer edit the challenge.

The challenge switches to in progress state when the current date exceeds the start date of the challenge. At this stage, all users who have registered participate. This means that all recorded trips are taken into account for the calculation of the average score of the challenge and to establish the ranking.

Once the end date of the challenge has passed, the challenge is considered finished. The positions of the participants are fixed and the rankings no longer change.
