What information does a beacon transmit?

The device uses the iBeacon standard, launched by Apple in 2013. The iBeacon standard is composed of three identifiers that are permanently and regularly transmitted:

1. Proximity UUID (universally unique identifier), which is a 128-bit value;
2. Major value, which is an unsigned 16-bit integer that can be used to group related devices that have the same proximity UUID;
3. Minor value, which is an unsigned 16-bit integer that differentiates devices with the same proximity UUID and major value.
